Privacy policy
SecureSiteAI apps and this website · Last updated 14 September 2026
SecureSiteAI is a private workforce application. It is issued by your employer — a security company — to its own guards, supervisors and managers, and is not intended for the general public. It contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers. We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Who we are
SecureSiteAI is provided by SecureSite AI (“we”, “us”), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We build and operate the platform.
The security company that issued your account — your employer — decides what the app is used for and is the data controller for the information described below. We operate the platform on their behalf as their data processor. If you want your data corrected or deleted, start with your employer; you can also contact us and we will act on their instruction.

This website
This website (securesightai.com) is a static marketing site. It sets no cookies. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify or track individual visitors. The contact form does not submit anything to us: it composes a message and opens WhatsApp or your email app, and you choose whether to send it. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and to keep the site running.
What the apps collect, and why
We only collect what is needed to run shift attendance, patrol supervision and emergency response. Every item below is used for app functionality — none of it is used for advertising or profiling.

Location in the background
While a manager is on an active patrol, the app records location in the background so the patrol route and site visits are captured even when the screen is off. This only happens during a patrol you have started yourself, and Android shows a persistent notification for the whole time it is running. Ending the patrol stops the tracking. The app does not collect your location outside a shift or patrol.
Location during an emergency
The emergency button is the one case where your location is shared continuously rather than at a single moment. When you raise an alert, the people who can help are sent your position and it keeps updating while the emergency is open. This starts only when you press the button, and it stops by itself as soon as the emergency is marked resolved. It is never started by anyone else.
Face verification
Some employers require a selfie to be matched against your reference photograph before a shift can start or end. Where that is switched on:
- The comparison is one-to-one — your selfie against your own reference photo, which your employer already holds. It is never used to search for you among other people’s photos.
- We do not create a face template, a faceprint or any other biometric identifier, and we do not keep a searchable collection of faces.
- The comparison is performed by our cloud provider’s face-comparison service, in India. It processes the two images to return a similarity score and does not retain them for its own purposes.
- We store the score and the outcome so that an attendance record can be audited later and a disputed shift can be checked.
- If your employer has not enabled this feature, no face comparison happens and no selfie is sent for comparison.
Who can see your data
Your attendance, selfies and patrol records are visible to authorised administrators, managers and supervisors at your employer, and — where your employer chooses — in read-only form to the client whose site you are posted at. We share data with no one else, except:
- our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, which stores the data on our behalf;
- Google Maps, which renders the maps in the app and dashboard;
- where we are required to by law.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored on servers we control, hosted in India. Selfies and photos are held in private storage and are not publicly accessible. Access is restricted to authorised staff.
How long we keep it
Attendance, leave, grievance and patrol records are retained for as long as you are employed and for as long afterwards as your employer is required to keep employment records. Selfies are retained with the attendance record they belong to. When a record is deleted by an administrator, it is removed permanently.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where your employer is not legally required to keep it. To make a request, contact your employer or email contact@securesightai.com.
You can withdraw location or camera permission at any time in your device settings. Shift check-in, checkpoint scans and patrols cannot function without them, as their whole purpose is to verify presence at a site.
Security
All traffic between the apps, the dashboard and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Sign-in tokens are held in the device’s secure storage. Screenshots and screen recording are blocked inside the mobile app so that selfies, colleagues’ phone numbers and live positions do not leak into a device’s gallery.
Children
The apps are for employed adults only and are not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
